The NOLA IM GM and I are good friends. I found out this afternoon through a
mutual acquaintance that the NOLA IM staff was able to evacuate. She also
informed me that IM corporately was planning an extensive recovery effort in
the area as soon as conditions permitted. In addition, I e-mailed the NOLA
IM GM this afternoon. If he has any information to share; I will post to
the listserv.

I plugged "Iron Mountain" and "New Orleans, LA" into www.superpages.com to
get an idea of where the facilities might be.
There were a number of hits, and a map of each available. Of course I did
not have a view of flood damage at the same time to compare the locations.

Redundancy is the answer; in reality, though, how many of us practice

I also wonder how many of their warehouses are actually in the city of
New Orleans; like other major cities, they may well be located in a
suburb with different impact.
Just random thoughts.
