In case you couldn't attend the ARMA Conference Award Ceremony or haven't
heard, a distinguished member and frequent contributor of the listserve,
Ginny Jones, was inducted into the Company of Fellows last week. The
Company of Fellows represents ARMA International's most distinguished
lifetime or career achievement. The award honors records and information
management professionals who are members of ARMA International and have made
outstanding contributions to the profession.
I've had the distinct pleasure of knowing Ginny for approximately eight
years and have worked with her closely on the ICRM Board for the past three
years. She is a tireless professional who is extremely knowledgeable about
records management. In addition, she is a great person. Although the term
"expert" has, in my opinion, been loosely tossed around these days (much
like superstar), Ginny is definitely one in the RM field. I can't think of
anyone who is more deserving of the Fellows award than Ginny.
Congrats Ginny!
