interesting question. In one of my Google News alert I saw where a
Mainland Chinese company was suing a Taiwanese company in US federal
court in Southern California for trade secret theft.

sometimes it doesn't even matter if the contractual agreement
stipulates what state rules .Just ask Texaco? they were sued, the case
should have been heard in NY court as stipulated in the contract, but
instead it was heard in Houston

but what do I know I haven't stayed in a Holiday Inn in quite a while ;->
