Hey Kim-

I am thrilled that you are interested in our field. It can be a really 
happening place!

If it were me, I would:
1 - Regularly check out the job postings on ARMA and AIIM
2 - Network by attending ARMA and AIIM meetings (or even join since students 
get a nice discount on membership)
3 - Target a geography or geographies
4 - Stay subscribed to this list and follow it - lots to learn here!
5 - Write a really good resume and cover letter (and you'll know what to say 
since you're looking at the job postings)
6 - maintain a positive attitude and a great sense of humor.
