Records Manager - National Position - Based in Chicago

 

Are you a Records Manager that enjoys managing projects?  Would you like
to work in a position that is a firm wide and allows you to travel to
different offices in the United States?  If you answered yes to these
questions, we have the position for you!  One of the largest and most
prominent law firms in the nation is searching for a Records Project
Manager to direct firm wide records management projects.  In this highly
visible role, you will be responsible for managing projects that involve
file retention programs, managing litigation holds and compliance
issues, and implementing the electronic records management system.
Specific responsibilities will include determining project scope;
preparing all related documentation; defining and obtaining necessary
resources to execute the project; creating project budgets; developing
project tasks, sequencing and timelines; overseeing the project team;
conducting status meetings and ensuring projects are completed in a
timely manner.  This position is located in the Chicago office and
requires 50% travel to offices in states such as California; Washington,
DC; New York; Boston and Detroit.  Candidates for this position should
have a minimum of three years of records management experience in a law
firm or corporate setting.  Project Management experience is highly
preferred.  Bachelor's degree is preferred.  The ability to lead a team
of records management employees and make presentations to a large group
of professionals is required.  The compensation package for this
