This is actually a good (but subtle) acronym to use if Archives will be
part of the program.  (Remember - in Europe many records managers have
the title of archivists.)  It ties in the life cycle concept very nicely
also.

living and nonliving parts of the earth are viewed as a complex
interacting system that can be thought of as a single organism. Named
after the Greek earth goddess, this hypothesis postulates that all
living things have a regulatory effect on the Earth's environment that
promotes life overall.  Oaths sworn in the name of Gaia, in ancient
Greece, were considered the most binding of all.
