We are in the process of setting up a Document and Records Management System
that utilizes SharePoint (MOSS 2007) as the Front end presentation layer
with Open Text's eDOCS with RM as the backend to maintain the official
Records.

A few questions have come up regarding Blogs that are created and maintained
in SharePoint:

At what point is the Blog declared a Record and locked down ?
What format should the Blog be in when it is moved to eDOCS as an official
Record?
What information besides the actual content needs to be kept and associated
with the official Record ?
Does the whole STP need to be saved so the site can be recreated, or can the
Blog be printed to a PDF and the PDF managed in eDOCS as the official Record
?

Any thoughts, best practices, opinions, descriptions of processes that are
in place are appreciated.

Brent Reid
