Dear All:

While I do hate to step down this oft-trodden path, I'd refer people who wish to 
know the difference between certifications and certificates to the American 
Legal Nurse Consultant Certification Board at:

I think they do a pretty good job of explaining, in a broad way, certification vs. 
certificates- and since they're obviously not going to impact on our profession 
and don't have any RIM axes to grind, their definitions can be taken (or left) for 
what they are.

There, you've got someone from the ICRM Board weighing in- although, not in 
an official capacity.
