This kind of exchange happens around here every now and then, as others have
said before, this is a "pub" sort of environment, and you never really know
who's going to walk into the pub, and what state of inebriation the existing
occupants may be in, or their political (or other) opinions... and when
anyone decides to stroll in and openly proclaim their affinities, SOMEONE is
almost always likely to be offended.

And when this happens, everyone has the option to ignore it, join into the
conversational exchange, state their agreement or disagreement with the
opinions shared, and let the rumbling begin.

About the only way to stop the rain is to go inside, shouting at it doesn't
do much good.
