Position:  Records Retention Manager

Member of Internal Audit department; assesses compliance with Record Retention policies and procedures.
  a.. Manages Company's records retention policies and procedures, including development and implementation of compliance responsibility matrix and training modules. 
  b.. Expands, revises and updates Company's records retention policies with the input of Compliance and Legal Affairs personnel. 
  c.. Supports Strategic Procurement in its management of relationships with outside storage vendors. 
  d.. Provides training, support and assistance to business managers charged with responsibility for records retention. 
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree plus minimum six years' experience in litigation or regulatory compliance or four years' experience in records management role.
 
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial services litigation and/or regulatory or compliance work, and will have transitioned at some point in the past few years to a records management role either at a law firm or in a corporation.  We require someone with excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with experience in training, teaching or public-speaking.  The candidate should have a proven record of coalition-building and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the way large company dynamics manifest themselves.
