Well, it is important to get the governance thing right....thus the time
spent interviewing lots of folks (the committee has conducted those
interviews). Based on what I've seen thus far.... I think that the "two
committee model" requires fairly minimal changes (if any) in governance.
Those suggested as possibilities by our consultant/facilitator appear
better geared toward Associations that are "staff owned, with a veneer
of volunteer participation", while we are still "member owned".
None of those changes, however, are a cause for delay in this election.
