Hi

I work for a law firm and we use CMS (client management services).  All
client files are bar coded and I have just managed to get our IT to
organise bar code labels for all our deed packets.  I would really like
a portable bar code reader so I can conduct audit of lawyer's offices. 

CMS enables me to check files out to a lawyer.

I have been asked by someone in a law firm what automated systems, that
include barcodes and readers, are out there for tracking files that
might be specifically designed for, or be a particularly good fit for,
law firms. I was wondering if those of you who work in law firms might
tell me what systems you are using, so I can pass the info along.
