The next monthly meeting of the Greater Los Angeles chapter of ARMA
International will be held on Wednesday, October 15th, 11:30am - 1:30pm.

Topic Description: Protecting Your High-Risk Information - An approach
to Enterprise Information Mapping
Records Management, Legal, and Information Technology personnel have
been struggling to identify the systems in which their highest risk data
reside. This presentation will provide an approach to combining a
comprehensive information mapping process with a risk-based scoring
framework to identify and prioritize information systems across the
enterprise. This effort will enable a company to identify where
high-risk data resides and how well this data is managed. The
presentation will explore the benefits of such an approach as well as
real-life uses for the Information Map including, but not limited to,
preparing for litigation and eDiscovery, modernizing enterprise systems
to incorporate record keeping functionality, and increasing an
organizations ability to respond to increasing regulatory and compliance
demands.
