Hello Listserv Colleagues:

It would be interesting and appreciated to know if Listserver
Organizations have recently upgraded their contract language to require
Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), thorough criminal background
checks and finger printing for contracted workers performing secured
records destruction.

For example, if you are a Local Government have you recently modified
your contract for secured paper shredding/recycling so the employees
working for the company must pass a thorough BCA criminal background
check and be finger printed?  This would include all employees handling
any of your organization's business records, paper or non-paper, on-site
or off-site, recycled or destroyed only.

If yes, would you mind sharing your base contract language with me or
us?  

We are using ARMA, PRISM, Security, NAID guidelines and best practices
in our existing contract language as well as language developed due to
years of experience, however, there is a recent (last 2 months)
awareness for more stringent requirements for Counties with Correctional
Institutions and attempt to incorporate Homeland Security.
