Hello Bruce. My apologies for the late reply. As Tod C. noted in reply to
Peter's post regarding the travel schedule at our employer, it sometimes
takes a few days to catch up on things.
Regarding this issue, ARMA representatives did meet for high-level meetings.
ARMA is watching this legislation carefully and has been asked to
participate in further discussions after the 112th Congress is in session.
I would recommend contacting Bob Tillman at ARMA HQ offline for more
information.
Sincerely,
John

Subject: [RM] Washington Policy Brief
I saw in the latest issue that ARMA representatives met with
Congressional Offices on Health IT. Didn't say much more other than
what is being tossed around in Washington. As both a recipient of
medical services and the Records Manager for a large home health
services company I have an interest in what is ultimately passed - I
suspect others are as well.
I'm curious what was discussed. Would anyone from the ARMA Board be
willing to speak on this?
Thanks,
