Welcome Ward!  You will find there is a variety of RIM topics covered on
this list - including topics not so RIM related from time to time.  8-)

As a fellow of both AIIM and ARMA, I believe each organization
contributes to the RIM profession.  ARMA is more RIM focused -
principles, methodologies, concepts, and even specialty areas.  AIIM is
more technology focused and also serves as a vendor association.  Both
organizations have national standard setting programs.  AIIM is also the
Secretariat for ISO Technical Committee 171 (international standards).

If you are tasked with establishing a RIM program, and can only afford
membership in one association, I suggest you start with ARMA membership.
