John:

I have no experience with the Luratech software, but invoice processing
(semi-structured recognition) has been available from a number of firms for
several years. Just a few others:

- Kofax
- PsiGen
- SimpleSoftware
- Anydoc
- Readsoft
- EMC Captiva
- Datacap

There are quite a few more. I have evaluated a number of these for
customers as well as implemented a few. There are a number of factors to
look at in selecting a package -- more than I can put in an email.

Good luck.

Subject: Data extraction software

Hello all...

Does anyone have any experience working with data extraction software from
Luratech?

Perhaps there is other software out there which is similar? We want to
start scanning incoming invoices and extract data from the images. It
can't be zonal recognition but must be word recognition software. In
other words, it is rule based and pulls the data from the image
irregardless of where that information is found.

Any help would be appreciated as always.
