All of my files are bar coded and I run a report once per month to find
out what files have been out for an extended amount of time and then
send an email requesting the file(s) be returned.

Hello 

I work in Document Management Services for Ontario Lottery And Gaming. I

am wondering if anyone has a generic letter or procedure for retrieving 
files that employees have signed out? It seems that people are not
prompt 
to return files or even boxes of files when they are finished working
with 
them. I have only been working in this position for 7 months. Any 
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
