There is still quite a bit of liveblogging, depending on the conference. I
think part of the difference is that you can Tweet from a notebook, a
netbook, a cell phone, etc. while you can't really blog using an iPhone. The
140-character limit per Tweet probably also plays a part in that it can be
more immediate. It's also been the downfall of many a presenter - if it's
not a good presentation or it gets sales-y, the audience Tweets and it
becomes self-sustaining and reinforcing very quickly.
I guess all else being equal I'd rather know than not know - so I will be
checking Twitter right after my session in Orlando. :)
