a design, perhaps we can run a listserv competition for the best design.
The New York City Metro Chapter of ARMA does that for its Chapter pin,
and it is quite successful (and fun, too).

the easiest way would be to create a design and sell it through
cafepress.com. no need to order materials. all you do is create the
design and set the price. when an order is made they print the shirt and
ship. And cafepress does the money collection. No need to take orders
and hope people will pay.
