Thanks, Dave. I wonder why it is so much easier to gather information about
document management specialists? 

A quick search on the title in Google brings up results that include names
like AIIM, Humingbird, etc. (many vendors use the term in referring to their
document management products). And many pages were returned. 

However, a search in Google on "records management specialist" also brings
up many pages of returns - mainly job openings or job descriptions.  

Try searching at the Occupational site where you found "document management
specialists" and search on "records management specialists." Although I
didn't expect "records management specialists" to be listed, I was surprised
by a list of occupations relevant to the search that was returned to me that
included such popular occupations as "range managers" and "farm and home
management advisors." Hmmmm

Well, enough fun for today!
