Re article about overtime abuse in the records office San Francisco
Police Department

These are my personal comments.

Sorting records scandal? Sounds like a witch hunt! How much tax dollars
will be wasted to get to the bottom of the big bad records scandal!
Probably more then the purported wastage in the first place!

I would think that they would first be innocent until proven guilty, as
maybe there is a very simple explanation as to why these records were
not sorted. Maybe these are "other" records or not a part of the
original contracted work? Maybe they were sorted and then used and now
they need to be sorted again.

There could be a lot of reasons why. I am not saying that anybody is
above the law here but I personally am so appreciative of all law
enforcement and military men and women that I would say they have earned
the right to be treated fairly, impartially and with respect. They at
the very least have MY respect! That they have earned. What were they
doing if they weren't sorting these records? Maybe they were saving
lives or doing other important work? In closing on this subject "Thank
God the thin blue line are there for us every day!" Leave them alone!
