Re peer review journal
As a practitioner for many many years I always find it refreshing to
work with university graduates in the RIM field. They bring insights and
new ways of looking at things that us old timers either aren't aware of
or have dug our heels in or hoping not to have to deal with. Peer
reviews by learned colleagues in private industry and in the public
domain are useful in the experiential sense, keep us up-to-date and
honest. It is interesting the older you get that you see "what was old,
becomes new again". To be successful in anything in life you must have
the foundation, which is your theory and the common sense of the
practical. They are your suit of armour! Wrapped up in that you can't be
beaten! I have always found it interesting that doctors call their place
of work a "practice" when I call mine my "job". Is it because they are
practicing their theories on us? Just teasing. Have a wonderful day.
