I think this is part of the boomer generation and what they have grown up 
and are accustomed to.   As an aside, in this new generation where many 
organizations have EDRMS' the same problem exists where many boomer users 
are happy, content and desire to continue to use and like paper.  So here 
I am driving an electronic document and records program, you would think 
that my desk would be empty of paper as a good example......NOT!!  I fully 
understand people who still like working with paper and those who want a 
hard copy in front of the fire.   That's me as well.

We take baby steps with this in our organization.....and make 
accomodations for those who still struggle with this.  My answer to them 
is some day, this will all be electronic.....and you often get a pained 
exprression on their face.  Then the comment is, OK, but I'll be retired 
by then.
