Brad:

I have set up scanning solutions in the past for financial institutions that were
scattered geographically.

At one time, their was a give away at the ARMA Conference that was about
four pages and had multiple conversions from paper etc. dependent on
various DPI settings used at scanning and included number of pages
electronically stored per MG, GB etc.

I'll try to find it and post for all.

Please contact me off-line if you like to discuss the scanning project in some
detail.

Subject: Moving from Hard Copy Records System to Electronic

Greetings all,

Can anyone suggest some good resources for finding information on
setting up an enterprise document scanning program?

Our company is approximately 2,000 employees, spread from California to
Florida.

At current we are a 90% paper-based company, and the "paperless" buzz is
starting to brew.

Also, if anyone has seen or developed any stats on paper to electronic
volume conversions, that would also be helpful.

Thanks,
