I know that this is going to sound silly, but is your scanning device color
capable and color enabled?  Most copiers are black and while.

If you attempt to convert color pictures to black and white, you can't
expect much.  But if you can increase the resolution (aka dots per inch) and
shift to grey scale, you may be happier.

Hello Listservers,

 

I have color images I am scanning into the system but, the color portions of
the image aren't being reproduced once the document is scanned.  I've tried
the darkest settings on a copier, to no avail.  Other than going to the
Institution and having then change their ink/font are there any suggestions?
