The Ohio Electronic <http://www.ohiohistory.org/ohiojunction/erc/>  Records
Committee (OhioERC), in cooperation with the Ohio Historical Records
<http://ohsweb.ohiohistory.org/ohrab/index.php>  Advisory Board, and with
funding by the National Historical Publications and
<http://www.archives.gov/nhprc/>  Records Commission, is offering a series
of FREE seminars based on the OERC's "Guidelines
<http://www.ohiohistory.org/ohiojunction/erc/email/emailguidelines.html>
for Managing Electronic Mail" and "Digital
<http://www.ohiohistory.org/ohiojunction/erc/imagingrevision/revisedimaging2
003.html>  Imaging Guidelines."  Each 3-hour seminar will cover both topics
and conclude with a panel discussion with state and local government experts
who have implemented email management and imaging systems within their
offices. 

 

Who Should Attend?

--State and local government (counties, municipalities, townships, school
district, special district)

-------Records Managers/Archivists

-------Information Technology staff

-------Elected Officials or their representatives

-------Records-keepers

 

The workshops have been approved by the International Institute of
<http://www.iimc.com/index/index.shtml>  Municipal Clerks (IIMC) for 0.5
points and pre-approved for credit toward the NAGARA
<http://www.nagara.org/>  Certificate.

Dates, times and locations are listed below.  Light refreshments will be
provided.  Seating in each session is limited to 50 people.
