Having been a member of the EDC, TAC, Branding and Strategy Task Force, RIM
Competencies Project and both a member and Chair of the SDC in the past, I
wonder if there is any further information available on what the charter of
this "Content Strategy Task Force" is?

The website says:

"Its major role is to identify trends impacting the information-related
professions and new skills and best practices the RIM profession needs in
order to address the trends. That information will help determine ARMA
International’s focus for developing education, programs, publications, and
standards.

The task force is chartered for three years, at which time the charter may
be renewed and a new task force formed."

But it's unclear what role TF members will play in 'identifying trends' and
how that works towards supporting efforts to  'determine ... focus for
developing education , programs, publications and standards.'

Also, it states this TF "...is chartered for three years..." so is there a
plan for regular meetings, any goals, schedules, or idea of time commitment? 

Sort of tough to say why you'd like to serve on this three hour cruise if
you don't know the expectations.
