If your group was not involved in developing the schedule, it certainly 
should. Suffice it to say, I've witnessed instances where an organization 
creates a group of non-RMs to develop schedules, etc. only to have the 
work tabled indefinitely or produce a disappointing end-product that then 
requires the RM to fix it. Make the case to upper mgmt that your RM group 
is the best and most logical resource to tackle the schedule.
