Please join us at the Mid-Michigan Chapter of ARMA Annual Spring Seminar!
We have put together fantastic sessions for your learning endeavors!

Whether you are new to Records and Information Management or are a
seasoned professional, we have the hot industry topics that you need to know!

Date: April 22, 2010 8am-4:30pm
Location: Okemos Convention Center, Okemos, Michigan

Track 1: Hands-on Workshop to Write an Actual Business Case
Speaker: Penny J. Quirk, Robbins Gioia
How many times have you worked to defend a project, piece of equipment or
software product only to have it fall apart in the final review? In today’s
economy with limited funds available every department is competing for the
same “bucket of money”. What makes one business case more compelling
over another?

This session is scheduled as an all-day event, highly interactive and hands-on;
attendees will have the opportunity to draft out a business case relevant to
their environment with the assistance of project and program managers
present throughout the day to assist and answer questions.

Track 2: Records Management 101
Session Speakers:
1. Recognizing the Importance of Records and Information Management (RIM)
     Debbie Gearhart, CRM, FAI
2. Hands-on Records Appraisal Workshop-Debbie Gearhart, CRM, FAI
3. Records Retention Policy Development-Sharon LaPlant, CRM
4. Electronic Records Retention Issues-Kiersten Ward, CRM
5. Document Management Industry-Greg Colton
