Hi Alice, 
 
Not everything, but some indication you can probably find 
on U.S. Small Business Administration - may be  I'm wrong i n the name,
and Association of Paper producers / salers???
 
Also, check something like Business Forms Management Associations
 
related to
" Cost of lost/misplaced/found record

*         Cost of paper for businesses

*         Confirmation that we still only look at 1 out of 20 documents,
which are 5+ years old

*         Number of faxes mailed

*         Total number of emails sent/forwarded

 
 
Also, Peter's "RAINs" are very good source of information.
