Fascinating. Look's like UK Archivists are getting ahead of US Archivists in
documenting valuable cultural icons. Now if only we could get our NARA to
run around the Southland photographing our own well known cultural icon -
"See Rock City" signs:

Of course, these signs are considered a cultural treasure by some who worry
about their not being maintained in many instances. They are also considered
to be an environmental eyesore by others. I guess "the beauty is in the eye
of the archivist."
