1.  Do staff at your organization empty their own wastepaper cans? Or
does your cleaning service do it nightly?

Custodial staff empty them every night.  To discourage use of waste cans 
and encourage recycling, our waste cans have disappeared in many locations 


 

2.  Does your organization have directions about what types of paper go
into your wastepaper can vs. what should be taken to a shredder instead?

Absolutely.  We have 3 shredding containers located strategically 
throughout the office.  Paper should either be shredded or go into 
recycling containers.  No paper should make its way into waste.
