The National Archives Assembly and NARA's Center for Advanced Systems
and Technologies (NCAST) will be hosting a presentation by one of
NCAST's Research Partners, Peter Bajcsy. Dr. Bajcsy is a Research
Scientist at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA)
at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). His
presentation is entitled, "e-Services to Keep Your Digital Files
Current". He will be talking about his research in the areas of file
format conversion software registries, automated file format
conversions, and conversion quality assessment.
 
The presentation is free and open to the public.
