Hi All,
I'm looking for some help from folks who work for medical service providers about the retention of Worker's Compensation Claims that are appealed for payment by the provider - basically the worker comes to the provider and receives services, filing a WCC with their workplace/state - who then pays the provider for the services. If the claim was only partially paid by the workplace/state - the provider may appeal to receive additional payment. Once this is settled, how long would you retain the records related to these appeals?
Thanks - please feel free to ask for additional information if this does not make sense.
Thanks,
Caroline
