Hi Jennifer,
The idea is very interesting.
I think that some ideas you can take from old normal life:
Every time you make update - to indicate it:
1.Last update done on...
2.History of updates: what has been changed - additional/ or taken away
Primary / Secondary / Tertiary....Retention Period ...Office of origin and....
Reason of update - correction, change of legislation,....
May be you will add Subscription - " If you would like to stay updated, please...."
All Retention, or may be some specific parts.
Parts "Please leave your Comment / make suggestion....
"Ask us about how to Classify..., what Retention to apply..."
