Sedgwick County Government requires CFO signoff on all proposed records destructions. Even if certain records are not explicitly financial they still may be subject to audit -- the work product of a Federal grant or paid with other funds in scope of audit. For example, a Medicare audit of Health Department records required producing certain immunization consents selected as part of audit sample for flu shots paid with Medicare funds at a care home some years back.
