Good afternoon,
Bill Benedon said: "NO! NO! NO! Inside the box. One of the fundamental requirements of a well organized RIM program is the management of copying equipment and its use."
I'm curious as to how many of us in Listserv land actually have included guidelines/standards/procedures, etc. on the management of copying equipment in your records programs? I must admit that I don't now, and have never had any RM-related materials on copying equipment and usage in past RM positions I've held. While I respect Mr. Benedon (we've met once, but I mostly know of him by his impressive reputation), I don't know of any RIM programs that includes something like this.
It's got me to thinking enough so that I've just added this item to my "to do" list for 2011.
Thanks.
Earl
