over the past 20+ years many people have tried to find this "study" and were
not successful. if you search the listserv's archives you find many postings
about it

personally I wouldn't even bother citing it. Just about every RM vendor
(large and small) has used it over the years, but I don't know of anyone who
has ever actually seen or held it in their hands.
