Join us for a lively discussion on the "Adventures in HIM (Health Information Management)"

SUMMARY: If you've wondered about the intersection of records management and health care, this joint ARMA/HIMANYC meeting will answer your questions (bring many).

A panel of experts in health information management will discuss the management of records in a variety of working situations (primary care, critical care, and long-term care), the transition to electronic medical records, and will attempt to explain why it's really not simple.

Deborah S. Fernandez, RHIA, oversees medical record services at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell part of a large academic medical center in New York City and Westchester and brings to the table a strong leader who has helped drive change and promote efforts to adopt the electronic health record (EHR).
