I guess we will soon find out, but you have to remember that Autonomy has really been more entrenched in the e-discovery world. I never found there RGMT piece very good hence the acquisition. E-discovery solutions can be more pricey. If Autonomy is the saavy vendor I know them to be, they are going to realize the RGMT solution may require a different pricing model. I think the bigger concern is if CARM (as owned by Autonomy) will have the ability to integrate with e-discovery solutions beyond Autonomy.

I think this is really a wait and see type of situation.

I respectfully disagree with you, Donna. I don't know what the service level is of Autonomy, therefore I can't comment on it. However, I am aware of how expensive they are and so, I believe that if you are a current CARM user, you should expect to pay a lot more for licenses, etc., in the future...Vladimir

Have you worked with CA on a consultative basis? Their pricing is outrageous. My invoices tell a very different story people may beg to differn but I do not find the product or customer support very good.

I welcome the change.

This is not good news. Autonomy is extremely expensive and the next time that you have to buy a license or anything for CARM you can expect to pay between 2-3 times what you are currently paying. My 2 cents!
