Interesting article but I wonder if the author should have prefaced the 
article with the fact that he called residences and not businesses.  I 
would suggest that in the business realm, email continues to be the number 
one means of communication.  Recent reports by Gartner and Radicati seem 
to support this.

I did appreciate the fact that most Americans (76%) use the telephone to 
communicate with friends and family.  I thought in this day and age where 
social media seems to be the norm, that most are still using the phone. 
Personally, I like the phone.
