Peter,

The problem with naming the Data Management Company could be that if they
later find the data (tapes) are still at the Hospital, could they get
sued????

I remember a couple of years ago Bank of America lost some tapes, only to
find them months later still onsite in boxes under a desk.

From one of the articles " executives learned that the contractor had
received and destroyed only a portion of the files", so the 'Chain of
Custody' only shows 'a portion' of the data?  Maybe this is why the Hospital
is reluctant to name the Data Management Company.
