Often standards that are generic in nature and based on solid technology do not need major revisions and are therefore "reaffirmed" after a committee review. This is designated by (Rdate) after the publication date on the document. All ANSI/AIIM standards are reviewed every 5 or 6 years.  ANSI/AIIM TR34 was reaffirmed by AIIM and ANSI in 2002, and is currently being reviewed by the AIIM standards committee for reaffirmation in 2011.
