"What do you think young people should know about the field of RM, and
why should they consider a profession in the field of records
management?"

An interesting analogy of RM and library professions came to me from a
newly graduated MLIS who found herself working in RM.
'Records work and library work are almost the same, except in RM all the
pages have been ripped from the books, piled on the floor and the RM
professional's role is to organize the pages in a logical and consistent
manner so that the information is available to those who need it and are
authorized to see it in a timely and efficient manner.'
