Purpose MITRE, on Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies To Work For" list

Work in IT" list four years in a row, is seeking a Java/Web Developer to join
MITRE's Information Technology (IT) Web Development Team. As a software
developer, you will work with technical team members to create top-quality
solutions that address MITRE's business needs.
As the Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) Application Architect,
you will be the hands-on lead for the technical implementation of our selected
solution for MITRE's Information Technology Corporate Records department.
Security Clearance Level No Key Functions In the ERMS Application Architect
role, you will be the product manager responsible for mapping the business
requirements into technical requirements, coordinating with the other
technical teams on the deployment of our solution into MITRE’s infrastructure,
and project lead and lead developer on implementing the ERMS system.
Required Education/Experience: BS and 5 years of related experience or MS
and 3 years of related experience or PhD and 1 year of related experience
Desired Education/Experience Bachelors Degree in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, or a related field.
One year of hands-on development with web-based applications.
Required Skills: We seek a candidate who has exposure and experience with
records management software and Java web application technologies. Proven
track records with business process web application development using J2EE
and JDK development and have developed applications exercising these skills.
In addition the candidate must have excellent verbal/written communications
skills and demonstrated project management experience working across
multiple groups.
The ideal candidate will have web application and Java development skills or
areas of study including XML, Java Servlets, JSPs, AJAX, REST, SOAP, HTML,
Spring, Oracle Databases and CSS. Knowledge of Linux development
environments, CVS, Ant, Maven, and database experience are a plus.
