My point is to call a spade a spade.  An Ethical Wall is used for a specific
purpose (whether it is done manually or in a software application, or is
inclusive or exclusive, doesn't matter).  There are sometimes needs for
other screens for other reasons, but call those what they are.  Clarity in
both terminology and practice is important.

And while I totally agree that an attorney has a professional responsibility
to know when information needs to be protected, why and how, that doesn't
mean they always do or can clearly articulate that.  It is part of our job
to ensure we have a suite of procedures to meet their varying needs, and
help them choose the most appropriate for the situation at hand.

Information protection isn't a "one size fits all" effort - that's all I was
saying.
