The ARMA chapters of South Carolina have done it again. They have joined forces to host a one day seminar at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History. When the chapters join together to host a seminar they are able to bring in some of the best speakers in the RIM industry. This years topic is Information Management and Cloud Computing. Jon Neiditz who is a Partner with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough and Cofounder of the Information Management Practice along is going to be speaking about the security and legal issues regarding Cloud Computing. He is also bringing along John Martin and Lucie Cohen whom are both with Nelson Mullins to speak to our group. Galina Datskovsky, Ph.D., CRM is going to discuss the Records Management implications of cloud computing. Galina Datskovsky is an internationally known expert in the fields of compliance, information governance, records management and associated technologies with over 20 years experience in the field. Galina is the president-elect of ARMA and SVP of Information Governance at Autonomy.
If you want to hear about the hottest topics in the RIM industry, this is the seminar to attend. In addition to two renowned speakers there will be a CRM panel. The panel will be able to answer your questions and discuss current industry issues. Vendor booths will also be available so you can learn about the latest tools of the industry.
