I am part of a team at a Financial Services company (think insurance products
and consumer financial products) that in the past year implemented a Legal
Holds solution (PSS Atlas) and have been very pleased with its performance.
Our eDiscovery processes have been examined and re-examined to make the
best sense for us and improve our efficiencies in implementing a hold and
collecting/preserving relevant information.

Also, in parallel, we started a RIM Program and have created a Policy and
revised our RRS. Now we are to the point where the RRS is slowly being
implemented and we have to have a mechanism to check for legal holds prior
to the disposition of our records. We do not have an electronic records
management system. I am interested in how others work with Legal Depts to
clear records from any legal holds. Especially when clearing large cases like
say a class action that is very broad in scope.

Thank you.
