Hi everybody,

In this context I would like to post part of the fine print:

Article 7.2.b The User guarantees that he will not distribute through the Website any Content or Metadata that discriminates on the grounds of and/or is offensive in respect of appearance, race, religion, sex, culture, or origin source: http://www.europeana1914-1918.eu/en/about/terms).

It sounds like they look for a "cleaned" version of our collective European consciousness on WW1. see also article in German -sorry :) http://www.heise.de/tp/r4/artikel/34/34460/1.html which points out that the copyright of uploaded documents may cause legal problems too.

Kind regards

Gerda Draxl

Ps: I like Europeana!
